Farm Description

Jose Ignacio Gomez is the third generation of coffee growers in his family, and his project is recognized as one of the most ambitious production and sustainability efforts in the region. The Paraiso farm is located in the village of Enaranjal, within the municipality of Buzaco, just 20 minutes from the city. It offers the ideal climate, topography, and access to land for growing coffee. These conditions create the perfect environment for Paraiso Farms to be more than just a place to produce coffee, but to produce the highest quality coffee in a sustainable way. Jose and his family take full advantage of these gifts of nature, producing exceptional coffees for coffee lovers year after year.

ep) - Jose is always looking to experiment and improve production, so he was eager to try planting Geisha trees on his property, as several of his colleagues have done. Nestled among the other varietals, Paraiso’s Geisha trees are part of the farm’s greater ecosystem and part of Jose’s ongoing trials to measure the success of different kinds of coffee, both in terms of agronomic performance (yield, pest, and plague resistance)

ep) - Jose는 항상 실험을 통해 생산을 개선하려고 했기 때문에 몇몇 동료들이 했던 것처럼 자신의 소유지에 게이샤 나무를 심고 싶어 했습니다. 다른 품종들 사이에 자리잡은 Paraiso의 게이샤 나무는 농장의 더 큰 생태계의 일부이며 농업적 성과(수율, 해충 및 전염병 저항성) 측면에서 다양한 종류의 커피의 성공을 측정하기 위한 Jose의 지속적인 시도의 일부입니다.
