Farm Description

Edwin Tello is the owner of Ines Pata, a 3 hectare farm planted with Geisha, Tipica and Bourbon varieties in the village of Pacaibamba. Ines Fata Geisha originated with Edwin's father.Like many farmers, Edwin has been farming coffee for generations and there is nothing that hasn't been touched by his father, from sowing and watering to caring for the fruit and harvesting. The farm is an extremely high altitude farm, located at 2410 masl. The cool temperatures allow for slow maturation of the cherries and high complexity in the cup. Edwin decided to plant the Geisha variety because of the success his neighbors have had with it and the variety's adaptability to the conditions in the area. Edwin purchased the seeds from a neighboring farmer who received them directly from a local cooperative. The farm took longer than usual to produce fruit due to the high altitude and cold conditions, and because of these issues, the farm is not the most productive in the area, but it is arguably one of the best quality. Ines Pata Geisha was added to our single-origin lineup at the highly recommended recommendation of our roaster. This coffee has a floral, tea-bag-like flavor that fills the palate and a honeyed, dark sweet finish that gives it a smooth texture. 

에드윈 텔로는 파카이밤바마을에 게이샤, 티피카, 버번 품종을 심은 3ha 규모의 이네스 파타의 소유주입니다. 이네스 파타 게이샤는 농장주 에드윈의 아버지로부터 시작됐습니다.많은 농장주가 그렇듯 에드윈도 대를 이어 커피 농사를 짓고 있으며, 씨를 뿌리고 물을 주는 일, 열매를 보살피고 수확하는 일까지 아버지의 손길이 닿지 않은 곳이 없습니다. 농장은 고도가 극도로 높은 농장으로 2410 masl에 위치하고 있습니다. 시원한 온도는 체리의 느린 성숙과 컵안에 높은 복합성을 허용합니다. 에드윈은 이웃들이 그 품종에 대해 가지고 있는 성공과 그 지역의 조건에 대한 품종의 적응력 때문에 게이샤 품종을 심기로 결정했습니다. 에드윈은 지역 협동조합에서 직접 씨앗을 받은 이웃농부로부터 씨앗을 구입했습니다. 농장은 높은 고도와 추운 조건 때문에 과일까지 평소보다 더 오래 걸렸고, 이런문제로 농장이 이 지역에서 가장 생산적이지는 않지만 최고의 품질 중 하나임에는 틀림이 없습니다. 이네스 파타 게이샤는 저희 로스터의 적극적인 추천으로 이번 싱글 오리진 라인에 추가되었습니다. 이 커피는 티백을 우려먹듯 좋은 꽃 향이가 입안을 가득 채우고 꿀 같은 짙은 단맛의 여운이 부드러운 텍스쳐를 선사합니다.
