BEAN STORY

돈 카이토는 코스타리카 타라주 커피 지역 , 특히 산타 마리아 데 도타에서 재배됩니다. 농장은 해발 1,650~2,100m에 위치해 있으며, 대서양 기후로부터 작물을 보호하는 가파른 경사지와 태평양의 산들바람이 조화를 이루고 하루 종일 풍부한 일조량을 자랑합니다.이 지역은 이미 뛰어난 커피 생산지로 알려져 있는데, 토양의 특성뿐만 아니라 커피 농부들의 경험과 훌륭한 노동력으로도 유명합니다.그 높은 품질 기준을 찾기 위해 우리는 2009년부터 로스앙헬레스에 있는 자체 마이크로 밀 에서 커피 가공을 시작했습니다. 그곳에서  농장의 작업에 대한 적절한 후속 조치를 취할 수 있으며, 커피의 종류와 적용할 공정에 따라 수확물을 랏과 마이크로랏으로 나눕니다.2011년, 저희 제품 중 하나가 코스타리카 컵 오브 엑설런스 대회에서 1위를 차지했습니다. 2018년에도 같은 성과를 거두었습니다.코스타리카 컵 오브 엑설런스(Costa Rica Cup of Excellence ) 에서 1위를 차지한 것은 바로 게이샤 커피 덕분입니다 . 해발 1,900m에 위치한 돈 카이토(Don Cayito) 농장의 게이샤 품종을 높은 곳에서 건조하여 재배합니다.

 

Don Caito is grown in Costa Rica's Tarrazú coffee region, specifically in Santa María de Dota. The farm is situated at an elevation of 1,650 to 2,100 meters above sea level, where steep slopes shield the crops from the Atlantic climate while Pacific breezes provide a harmonious balance, offering abundant sunlight throughout the day. This region is already renowned as an exceptional coffee-growing area, famous not only for its soil characteristics but also for the experience of its coffee farmers and excellent labor force. To achieve these high quality standards, we began processing coffee at our own micro-mill in Los Angeles starting in 2009. There, we can properly follow up on the farm's work, dividing the harvest into lots and micro-lots based on the coffee variety and the processing method applied. In 2011, one of our products won first place in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence competition. We achieved the same success again in 2018. It was Geisha coffee that earned us first place in the Costa Rica Cup of Excellence. We cultivate the Geisha variety at the Don Cayito farm, located at 1,900 meters above sea level, drying it at high altitude.

This coffee offers elegance through the bright, floral notes of bergamot harmonizing with delicate citrus. The sweetness of ripe tropical fruit adds depth, leaving a pleasant aftertaste that lingers until the very last sip.
